The role:
The Division of Medicine is comprised of 10 Specialty areas including Infectious diseases, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Medical Obstetrics, Neurology and Nephrology.
The Medicine division is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Personal assistant and Senior Medical Coordinator, reporting to the Divisional Director for Clinical services medicine. This is Maternity leave cover for 12 months only.
You will be required to undertake specified tasks as well as diary management for several Heads of Unit. The Medicine division has over 150 consultants and 12 Heads of unit. It entails over 12 complex rosters to manage and create.
Therefore at times this role can be very busy and you will be juggling many tasks at the one time for many different areas. You must be able to multi task and be able to prioritise because this is not your average admin role.
About you:
This role although Monday –Friday will entail some out of office work to ensure gaps are covered with roster management and communicated to ensure no urgent requests come through in your absence. This won’t apply during periods of annual leave but will require some discretion. This is compensated via the rate of pay applicable.
Overall you are to oversee the senior medical division for the Division of Medicine and all that entails, as well as provide personal assistant work to the Divisional Director of Medicine.
