The Division

The People and Culture Division provides key services to managers and staff regarding all employment related matters. This includes advice, support and information on all aspects of working at Bendigo Health. The Medical Workforce Unit is responsible for providing strategic and operational services which support the medical workforce needs of Bendigo Health Care Group in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer. 


The Position

Reporting to the Medical Workforce Unit Manager the position provides high level administrative support to the Medical Workforce Team with a particular focus on assisting with the administrative functions associated with medical workforce recruitment, coordination, and maintenance.

The position requires a pro-active, highly organised and responsible person with strong attention to detail. Excellent computer skills are required for word processing, database maintenance and spreadsheet responsibilities.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
01.Certificate in Business Administration and/or other related discipline

Essential:
02.Demonstrated commitment to customer service and ability to respond to a wide range of complex enquiries and determine the appropriate response.

Essential:
03.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to develop, improve and maintain office systems and processes, including the ability to prioritise work to meet multiple and strict deadlines.

Desirable:
04.Experience working within a Medical Workforce unit and experience responding to medical workforce related enquiries is highly desirable.

Desirable:
05.Experience and understanding of end to end recruitment processes to provide appropriate administrative support in this area.

Essential:
06.Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) skills with the ability to work confidently and courteously with people at all levels.

07.Flexibility to operate in an environment of change and continuous improvement

08.Well-developed budgetary report writing and data analysis skills
