Position Summary

UnitingCare provides health and community services to thousands of people every day of the year through its services in Family and Disability Services, Health, Aged Care and Community Services, Retirement Living and Retail. The Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Client Safety Manager to join our UnitingCare Family and Disability Services (FaDS) team based in Nundah on a Full Time basis.

As the Client Safety Manager, you will drive systematic practice and functional improvements as well as lead our review and assurance function to ensure client safe practices across the Family and Disability Services.

About You:

The successful candidate will have substantial proven experience in undertaking reviews and investigations, delivering professional reports in a Human Services setting. You will have a detailed understanding of Out of Home Care licensing and regulation requirements across the Human Service industry, whistleblower protections, privacy and confidentiality requirements.

Supplementing this, you will present with:

  • Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology or Social Science) as required by relevant service contracts
  • Leadership at a Senior Level in Child Protection Services
  • Highly developed skills in building and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships including influencing and coaching corporate and service delivery stakeholders
