Position Summary

UnitingCare operates the Outback Child and Family portfolio to provide high quality Early Childhood Education and Family Support programs to families who live beyond the reach of mainstream Early Childhood services. These unique services are innovative and flexible in their approach and respond to the needs of rural and remote families.  We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our dedicated team of Educators on a contract full time basis working across rural and remote Queensland.  

Working with the Statewide manager, this role will have you providing EC programs to children in their homes on remote properties for up to 3 weeks at a time. If you want to experience Early Childhood outside of a centre and take the next step in your career whilst seeing remote Queensland then this may be the job for you!

 What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • A minimum of Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or actively working towards)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • A current, paid Blue Card
  • High level communication skills, a commitment to providing high quality care to children and a sense of adventure
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively around Queensland

Remuneration

base salary + super+ salary packaging + employee benefits
