Position Summary |
We are currently looking for a motivated person for a key leadership role in the ECEI Partner service delivery of the organisation. The Community Development Lead is responsible for the implementation of UCC ECEI Community Capacity Building Plan and Practice Framework.
The Role:
In this role you will provide strong community capacity building and community engagement and awareness leadership to the UCC ECEI Lead Practitioners - Community and the wider ECEI teams. You will lead and contribute to the ongoing UCC ECEI development of the UCC ECEI model and practice framework for community capacity building, engagement and awareness. There is also the opportunity to develop and implement evaluation of ECEI's activities in this area of service. You will provide support and supervision to the Lead Practitioners - Community.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Relevant tertiary qualification in community development with experience of community development in the field of disability
- Understanding and knowledge of community development, community capacity building and building social capital methodologies and their application in community
- Supervision, coaching and mentoring to a diverse team
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and leadership skills
Remuneration
Base salary + super+ salary packaging + employee benefits
