Position Summary

We are currently seeking to appoint a Service Leader to work as a part of our UnitingCare, Intensive Family Support team, based in the Toowoomba region, on a full-time basis.  The Intensive Family Support Service assists vulnerable families to address multiple and/or complex needs and build their capacity to safely care for and protect their children. 

The Role:

In this position you will coordinate the day to day operations of our Intensive Family Support service. You will lead and manage all aspects of the service and ensure our service is adhering to practice and therapeutic frameworks to ensure quality outcomes for the families we support.  

About You:

You will have demonstrated experience leading a team and meeting performance outcomes and targets as well as having relevant experience working with families and children within a child protection context. You will have strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to network and build rapport with a variety of stakeholders. In addition to the above you will have a tertiary education in human and/or community services (or relevant field), a current blue card (or be willing to obtain), and an open QLD driver’s licence.
