We are currently looking for a Supported Living Facilitator to join our Team on a Part Time basis in Brighton. 

The Role 

As a Supported Living Facilitator you will work alongside two gentleman in their early 40’s. Your Duties will include but will not be limited to personal and domestic support, along with assisting them in managing their lives and getting out to be involved in lots of activities within the community.

 A little more about the People you will support

We love our local community of Brighton and one of us loves long walks along the beach. We both have lots of activities outside the home, and need some support with these. We do require some assistance with day to day activities in the home and personal care.  We can sometimes get frustrated and display displeasure through our behaviour.  We are not worried if you haven't had experience with personal care/behaviour management as some of my best workers have not had any experience before working for us and we can train you in these areas.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be interested in supporting with all of the areas listed above. Additionally you will able to provide or obtain prior to employment Senior First Aid Certificate (CPR), Drivers License and currently hold or be willing to obtain positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card).

Supplementing the above you will have flexible availability to be able to commit to rotational shift work which will include weekdays, weekends, late nights and sleepover shifts.

 

The inherent requirements of these roles are physically demanding as the successful applicant you will need to be able to complete these tasks which will include but won’t be limited to hoisting, standing and walking
