Position Summary |
We are currently seeking to appoint a Financial Counsellor to work as a part of our UnitingCare Financial Resilience and Wellbeing Services team based in Ipswich on a full time basis (76 hours per fortnight).
The Role:
You will provide counselling, advocacy, community education and information with a focus on empowerment and resilience outcomes for the client, family and community wellbeing.
About You:
You will have experience in providing Financial Counselling and support to individuals and their families who are experiencing financial anxiety and stress. We are seeking someone with fantastic communication skills who can work autonomously and remain motivated and driven to provide community education and information with a focus on empowerment and resilience to your community. You will be proactive in engaging with other services as well as hard to engage individuals, to ensure maximum reach of our service within the community. In addition to the above you will also be required to have:
- Diploma in Financial Counselling
- Current Qld Drivers Licence
- Suitability to work with children under 18 years - Blue Card
