Position Summary |
We are currently seeking to appoint a Service Leader to join our Uniting Care Early Years Early Learning Remote Area Family Services team on a Full Time basis (76 hours per fortnight). The successful candidate will ideally be based in Brisbane, however we we invite applications from candidates in other areas of Queensland as the right person for the job could work from one of our Regional offices!
The Role:
In this position you will coordinate the day to day operations of our Remote Area Family Services and provide professional leadership to employees with emphasis on delivery of high quality, best practice service delivery.
The role covers a large geographical area including offices in North and Central Queensland such as Mareeba, Longreach, Mackay, Charleville and Mt Isa. Therefore, having the ability to travel extensively across the state is essential.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
The successful candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, supplemented by significant working experience in providing services to children and families in remote areas.
You will also present with the following:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and licensing requirements associated with the service
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Current Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
