The Position

St John of God Subiaco Hospital is seeking applications from experienced and suitably qualified Registered Nurses to join our team of highly skilled nurses providing excellent patient care on Ward 35, our Inpatient Oncology/Haematology ward.

This position will be offered on a permanent part time basis, with 70 hours per fortnight (0.92FTE) on offer for the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be expected to work a variety of shifts across a rotating roster.

Previous experience in Oncology/Haematology Nursing is preferred, but not essential for further consideration. Previous experience, or competency in Chemotherapy Administration will be viewed favorably, but is not essential as training is available to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Midwife.
  • Knowledge of relevant acts, codes and standards relevant to current practice.

  • Clear concise written and verbal communication.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, or seek help from appropriate resources.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and patient satisfaction

  • Prioritise and multitask to achieve desired results
