St John of God Health Care is a leading health care provider, with private and public hospitals, home nursing and community services throughout Australia.

St John of God Accord provides Intellectual disability services and operates solely in Victoria , whilst Social Outreach which is nationally based provides mental health services to the community (Community Mental Health), parents and infants during the perinatal period (Raphael Services), and accommodation for youth (Horizon Houses) and adults (Casa Venegas) across WA, Victoria and NSW.

The Position

St John of God Accord & Social Outreach are currently seeking an outstanding Human Resource professional to join our Community Services team in this newly created role. Primarily based in the Melbourne metropolitan area, the successful applicant will be required to work in a range of locations in Melbourne and support the Social Outreach Division that has a National reach. 

The Community services sector is one of the most vibrant areas to work in Australia as it changes to a consumer-orientated environment as seen with the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Participation in this changing environment will ultimately improve the lives of the people with the greatest need. This role will assist in shaping the kind of workforce and culture required in readiness for the challenge of a marketised environment.

About You

In this role, you will support the CEOs of Accord and Social Outreach in a wide variety of HR strategies including workforce planning, cultural development, coaching, learning and development, recruitment, performance management and industrial relations.

As such, you will be strategic, collaborative and possess an outstanding services ethos. You will have completed a relevant tertiary qualification in a HR related discipline and have significant experience in all aspects of Human Resources. 

This position will be offered on a permanent full time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight with flexibility required to travel between sites as required.
