CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST

PERMANENT FULL TIME

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Clinical Documentation Specialist to join the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) team at Northern Health.

 

The successful applicant will work as part of the CDI team to engage with clinical staff, review clinical documentation at the point of care and provide education to improve documentation practices.

We require an enthusiastic Health Information Manager / Clinical Coder with effective communication and organisational skills that can work in a team environment and relate well to all levels of staff. 

 

This role is a full time position at 80 hours per fortnight.

 

About you:

·       Eligible for full membership with HIMAA

·       Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology

·       Proven ability to achieve targets and deadlines

·       Effective communication and management skills
