An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Grade 3 pharmacy technician to join the team at Northern Health. This role requires a Certificate III in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician), current Victorian Driver's Licence, Working with Children History Check and at least 3 year's full-time experience as a pharmacy technician.
In the first instance this role is a permanent full-time position at 80 hours per fortnight.
Initially, this role will be based in the Gastroenterology Unit, in particular, the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) specialty, working alongside with the IBD Pharmacist, after then the role will be rotated to other areas commonly serviced by a Clinical Pharmacy Technician. This role will demand compliance with Pharmacy competency and credentialing requirements for the Clinical Pharmacy Grade 3 Technician role. Grade 3
Pharmacy Technician will work closely with IBD unit and nursing specialists, junior medical staff, allied health, ancillary services as well as pharmacy team to achieve strategic outcomes of the Pharmacy Department and Northern Health.
