2019 Senior Registrar - Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Northern Health (second half of 2019 clinical year)
Northern Health is a large metropolitan health service in Melbourne’s outer northern suburbs. Northern Health provides a diverse range of acute, sub-acute and community health services to the large and diverse population in the regions north of Melbourne. Our five campuses offer services to a vastly diverse community at all stages of life.
The Northern Hospital Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology provides broad-based training and experience in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is a training site for the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics of the RANZCOG. Gynaecology surgery occurs at the Northern Hospital and Broadmeadows Hospital, with additional clinics at Craigieburn Health Centre. There is also exposure to Urogynaecology and MFM subspecialist services. Northern Health currently has 3800 births per year and increasing due to its location in a high population growth corridor.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Registrar for the second half of the 2019 clinical year.
Our senior registrar role offers opportunities for experience in patient safety, quality activities, teaching, administration and leadership with a focus on the transition to the consultant role.
To be successful in this role you must also demonstrate a commitment to Northern Health's values, a commitment to patient centred care and a commitment to your ongoing education. Candidates must also be suitable for accreditation with RANZCOG.
