Position Summary

The Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) Mental Health Service is the regional provider of mental health services in Gippsland. LRH Mental Health Service operates an integrated specialist mental health program across ten sites and provides inpatient and community mental health care for adults, children and young people, and older persons. Gippsland provides a fantastic regional lifestyle with easy access to Melbourne.


We are seeking enthusiastic Mental Health Clinicians with highly developed interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence to work within the Latrobe Valley Community Mental Health Service Recovery Team based at Traralgon. Several permanent positions are available with hours negotiable between 64 hours and 80 hours per fortnight.


Applications are sought from Registered Nurses (with post graduate qualifications in Mental Health), Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists to undertake this challenging role.


The successful candidate(s) will be required to carry out the full range of tasks required of a Community Clinician, including the provision of a comprehensive assessment of needs for each service user, their families and carers and the development and maintenance of collaborative Recovery Plans.
