Salary Range - $100,365 - $138,138

Opportunities exist for motivated individuals to join the Surgical Division as a Unaccredited General Surgery Registrar.

The Unaccredited General Surgery Registrars will be responsible, under the supervision of the Head of Unit, for assessment, planning, ongoing treatment and discharge of General Surgery patients. In addition, you will assist with the responsibility of the daily supervision of relevant Interns and/or HMOs and participate in Medical Student education and supervision.

The successful applicants will have General Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Officer. Requirements for the Unaccredited Surgical Registrar posts will be a minimum of PGY3/4 experience and completion of the EMST Skills Training.

These positions are designed for future Surgical Trainees who are seeking to complete the requirements in order to apply for various RACS SET Streams.   A Roster including a mixture of days and nights are required to be worked.
