About the Position and Intake Process

Our Beach Lifeguards promote and enhance the City's image by providing an effective and efficient range of activities associated with aquatic activities and public safety on Gold Coast beaches, ensuring compliance with relevant Local Laws, Regulations and Policies.

To assist us with processing your application, please scan all licences and qualifications together and upload them as one attachment under the 'Education Document'.

This is an expression of interest and applications will close when sufficient interest is received. Applicants who progress to the next stage of the recruitment process will be contacted regarding the dates for testing, which will take place in November 2021. Orientation and commencement of successful candidates is expected to occur in the first week of December.
