The Pre admission department at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital is currently seeking a part time (2 days per week) registered nurse for a fixed term Maternity leave Contract.

The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital is located in East Melbourne and currently undergoing major redevelopment.  The hospital is Australia’s leading provider of public specialist eye, ear, nose and throat care. From our main hospital in East Melbourne, our new site Eye and Ear on the Park and outpatient clinics around Victoria, we will provide care to around 250,000 people a year. 

We are seeking applicants who have strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, good organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining a team focus approach.

You will be working with both the Pre admission and Surgical booking teams to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care. 

Applicants should demonstrate previous surgical / pre admission experience. Ophthalmic and/or ENT nursing experience are desirable but not essential.
