Title Summary
TasTAFE - Administrative Assistant To undertake various administrative and clerical duties that support the function of a campus, team or business unit, including providing a customer focussed reception service. Assist with operational processes including the maintenance of databases and related matters.
TasTAFE - Client Services Officer To provide a client focused service to both external and internal clients. The role encompasses operational processes including; reception, cashiering and accurately maintaining databases within an educational setting.

Client Services is based on a collaborative and consultative approach in all its operations. The key aspects of this are working with integrity, respect and openness in dealing with others and a focus on teamwork.
TasTAFE - Disability Liaison Officer To liaise with enrolled students, prospective students with disabilities and staff to ensure that students’ needs are understood, communicated effectively and dealt with by teaching programs within Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards and the Student Access and Equity Policy.
TasTAFE - Information Officer To provide a customer focused service within an inbound and outbound Customer Service Centre environment, promoting TasTAFE products and services and maintaining supporting processes and information systems.
TasTAFE - International Student Advisor Ensure TasTAFE complies with Standard 6 Student Support Services of the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2007.

Ensure that staff who interact directly with international students are aware of the providers obligations under the Educational Services for Oversees Students Act (ESOS) framework and the potential implications for students arising from the exercise of these obligations.

Provide counselling, pastoral care, administrative and clerical services in the International Education Unit across a range of community, human and educational resource issues concerning fee-paying international students in line with the requirements of the ESOS act. Deal with the complexity of providing theses student services while working within this specialised legislated framework.
TasTAFE - Librarian Provide general professional customer focused library services or assist in the development and delivery of specialist library and information services, to a high standard of customer service.
TasTAFE - Library Technician Co-ordinate technical, instructional and operational functions on a day to day basis, to ensure the delivery of high quality customer-focused services, and provide technical direction, general supervision and advice as required. Undertake technical duties including document delivery; acquisition of library materials; implementation of collection management procedures and bibliographic tasks such as cataloguing, record creation and amendment for library resources. Modify established solutions to procedural and related problems and issues. Undertake and resolve complex client queries including the provision of technical advice and assistance to staff and students about access to publications and information generally.
TasTAFE - Library Technician Band 3 Undertake a range of client-focused library services and provide technical advice and assistance to staff and students as required. Undertake technical duties including acquisition of library materials, implementation of collection management procedures and bibliographic tasks such as record creation and amendment for library resources. Apply established solutions to procedural and related problems and issues. Resolve or refer client enquiries.
TasTAFE - Participation Assistant Assist students with a disability to fully participate in the learning environment and the broader community both internally and externally to the organisation.
TasTAFE - Student Counsellor To provide students with guidance on career and course selection, provide personal counselling services to minimise the impact of psychological and/ or emotional factors upon student academic performance and assist student achievement of their educational and vocational goals.
TasTAFE - Teacher Undertake teaching and assessment duties in a variety of contexts and in line with relevant standards and compliance requirements. The occupant is required to regularly monitor and evaluate practice in order to maintain a focus on continuous improvement.
TasTAFE - Technical Employee To provide technical support to teachers engaged in the delivery of programs, requiring the application of conventional practices. Manage aspects of a commercial/training production facility.
TasTAFE - Tutor - Aboriginal Training Programs The role will provide tutorial assistance to individuals and small groups of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking VET courses.
TasTAFE - VET Student Assistant To assist students with additional learning needs to fully participate in the Work Education program.
