Do you have Local Government experience in the areas of GIS and Asset Management? Are you passionate about gathering data from different sources, analysing and turning data into information that supports evidence-based decision making?
Brimbank City Council is currently looking for a technically-driven individual with strong analytical skills who wants to work with the latest GIS technology and asset management information systems.
In this role you will assist in the administration and implementation of Brimbank City Council's corporate GIS and Asset Management strategies. Your responsibilities will include spatial data analysis, maintaining and updating corporate spatial data sets, assistance with geographical data representation and analysis; and investigation and reporting of data anomalies.
This position provides professional and technical spatial services to our stakeholders through consultation, and the identification, development and delivery of spatial information products and services, specifically in relation to asset information management.
Ideally you will have relevant tertiary qualifications, experience in GIS and an understanding of asset management principles.

Selection Criteria |
Essential: Tertiary qualifications or training in relation to Geographic Information Systems, applied sciences,civil engineering, asset management or other relevant disciplines.
Experience in the use of leading GIS software and applications.
