Position Summary

Brimbank City Councils Building Maintenance Department is looking for a Building Maintenance Works Officer to join its team.

This position is a 3 year Full time position.

The role includes the supervision of staff and contractors. This includes delegating works, monitoring the quality of work, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Council’s policies (including financial) and relevant government Acts and Codes of Practices.

The Building Maintenance Works Officer is also responsible for responding to customer requests, including liaising with customers when required. The position also requires the ability to accurately scope and program works and complete audits of contractor performance to Council owned buildings.

 
Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have a Degree or Diploma or Building Trades qualification and relevant experience?

Essential: Do you have a significant knowledge and experience of Building Maintenance?

Essential: Do you have a current Victorian Drivers Licence?

Essential: Do you have staff and contractor supervisory skills?

Desirable: Do you have a Certificate in Project Management?

Desirable: Do you have a Diploma of Management?
