Position Summary |
Council’s City Compliance department has vacancies for 2 permanent Law Enforcement Officers, and one Temporary Law Enforcement Officer for a 6 month period.
These positions will provide both education to the community and proactive enforcement of applicable Legislation and Local Laws within Brimbank.
These roles will be responsible for Local Laws and parking compliance. The successful applicants will be required to have a clear medical assessment, police and WWC check.
Successful applicants will need to maintain a daily patrol of a specific area taking responsibility for the investigation of complaints and enforcement action within that area. Experience in a team based work environment would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will require a Certificate IV in a Regulatory or Statutory field or have had extensive experience in these or a related area. A strong commitment to customer service with a calm, reasonable demeanour in conflict situations is essential.
A mandatory requirement of this role requires that the successful incumbent is available to work 16 compulsory Saturday mornings and reasonable amounts of overtime on weekends.
