Applications are sought for a Strategic Sites Officer  in our Strategic Planning Unit. This position is for a Strategic Planner.

This is an opportunity to work in the Sunshine Town Centre as a Srategicites Officer. Located just 12 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, halfway between the Melbourne CBD and Australia’s fastest growth corridors in Melton and Wyndham. In Brimbank’s award winning civic centre.

The Sunshine Town Centre has diverse businesses, offering an array of retail, fresh food, multi-cultural cuisine, and entertainment, educational, civic and professional services.

Getting to Sunshine is easy in a centre serviced with a metropolitan railway station and a regional rail and bus interchange connecting Sunshine to Melbourne and many destinations across Melbourne and Victoria’s west.

The successful applicant will have a high level of expertise in strategic and / statutory planning, policy development, project completion and implementation to be delivered in short time frames.

A broad knowledge of relevant statutory planning and development approval, and strategic planning, frameworks, principles and issues; together with an understanding of economic development and business facilitation; and relevant tertiary qualifications.

This is a 12-month Maternity Leave full time position (36 hour week) based on Band 7 position.
