Position Summary

 Brimbank City Council is seeking a motivated and responsible Support Officer to provide direct customer service, effective administration and respond to community enquiries at the Hunt Club Community and Arts Centre and Cairnlea Community Hub.   

The Hunt Club Community and Arts Centre and Cairnlea Community Hub are Neighbourhood Houses located in Deer Park and Cairnlea and provide a range of programs, activities and events for the local community. 

The position is 21.25 hours per week, working the following hours: 

Monday       9.30am-1.15pm         

Wednesday 9.15am-3.15pm     

Thursday     9.30am-4.30pm        

Friday          9.15am-3.15pm

 

This position is responsible for reception, customer service, administrative support, maintaining data and preparing and processing documents and reports.  See attached position description for a full outline of responsibilities and duties.

 

 

 

 
Selection Criteria Essential: Do you have a Working with Children Check?

Essential: Do you have Certificate 3 in Office Administration or equivalent relevant experience in Office Administration?

Essential: Do you have proven high level organisational skills to plan, prioritise and manage daily work with competing priorities within required timelines efficiently and effectively?

Essential: Do you have an understanding of the role of Neighbourhood Houses within the community, functions and services?
