Brimbank City Council is currently seeking an experienced Senior Sustainability Officer to develop, manage and deliver Council’s environmental sustainability projects, policies and initiatives that contribute to Council’s long term sustainability objectives.

The Senior Sustainability Officer will coordinate end-to-end delivery of projects including but not limited to water, fuel, energy and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, and manage external funding agreements. Occasional after-hours commitments and access to own car use may be required.

Strong project management, budget and contract management skills are required, alongside an in depth understanding of environmental sustainability and climate change issues and their possible impacts in a local government context.
