Our Libraries are vibrant and busy community spaces where community members have the opportunity to:

- participate in programs for kids including storytimes and kids zone
- programs for adults including computer classes, learning English, sip and stitch and much much more
The successful candidate will be able to bring to our community a high level of enthusiasm, energy, resilience and an ability to adapt to change
The best candidate has:
- A background in working in a face to face customer service environment
- Great skills in using technology including mobile devices
- Ability to work with people from all backgrounds, ages and needs
- Ability to deal with conflict and negotiate outcomes that solve problems
- Ability to deliver programs to the community to a range of age groups. Activities include after school programs
- Work well with others
- Able to work in a busy environment
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate with the right skills to join our team in delivering responsive and engaging customer service.
This is a face to face customer service role where roving around the library space is a key strategy in successful engagement with library users.
Fluency in a language other than English is desirable. Successful candidates must be able to assist customers from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
