| Position Summary |
Permanent Part-Time Venue Services Officer is now required for St Albans Community Centre (STACC) in St Albans.
Based at the St Albans Community Centre (STACC) which incorporates the Bowery Theatre, this position works within a small team of Venue Services Officers (VSOs) to provide excellent customer service to visitors, hirers, artists and other patrons of the centre and the theatre. Its focus is on the community hirers in the Centre and their booking requirements. This position is based within Council’s Arts & Cultural Development Unit and works within a Community Cultural Development (CCD) framework.
Here are the working hours for the PT Part Time VSO Role:
Tuesdays 8:30am – 4pm (7 hours + 30 min lunch break)
Wednesdays 10am – 5:30pm (7 hours + 30 min lunch break)
Fridays 10am – 5:30pm (7 hours + 30 min lunch break))
Saturdays 8:30am – 12:45pm (4.25 hours)

| Selection Criteria |
Essential: Do you have a high level of computer literacy particularly in relation to the Microsoft Office suite, room & ticket booking systems and databases.
Essential: Do you have experience in providing high quality customer service and administrative support. High level organizational skills and ability to manage a number of tasks concurrently.
Essential: Do you have a formal qualification in service and office administration and experience in a customer service, theatre or community facility environment. Have, or be prepared to acquire, satisfactory levels of First Aid and CPR, & Police and Working with Children Checks. |
