Position Summary

Brimbank City Council is seeking an energetic and experienced professional with Maternal and Child Health qualifications to provide leadership and support to the Maternal and Child Health Universal  team.

 

TheTeam Leader will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the services including  supervision, coordination of staffing arrangements, professional development, graduate mentoring,  reporting and  project work.  You will play a critical role in the achievement of service priorities and quality service performance.

 

The successful candidate will have experience and expertise as per the key selection criteria.
Selection Criteria Essential: Experience and excellence in staff leadership and supervision, program administration and service delivery, strategic leadership and planning & development of services

Essential: Proven track record in developing sustainable partnerships with key stakeholders

Essential: Highly effective interpersonal skills, incorporating verbal and written communication, facilitation, influencing and problem solving

Essential: Skills and experience in provision of advocacy for the clients, the service and collaborative service development, and conversant with Government policies, plans and strategies for services for families and young children

Essential: Capacity to provide clear and meaningful operational and strategic perspective in advocating for the needs of staff, families and the community
