Reporting to the Coordinator Youth Services, this position leads the Youth Support team. The team is known for delivering quality, innovative and best practice youth support, engagement and counselling. The Youth Support team is developing the Brimbank Inclusivity Plan and the Team Leader will ensure the implementation of this plan across Council. 

The successful applicant will have degree qualifications in Social Work Psychology and/or other relevant discipline and will possess proven leadership experience. They will bring enthusiasm, creativity and significant experience in managing teams and planning, facilitating and delivering youth programs or relevant community projects. The successful applicant will require outstanding people skills enabling effective engagement with stakeholders, including staff, young people and representatives from external agencies and organisations.
