Position Summary |

This rewarding position will require you to work with and support community groups, sporting clubs, individuals and agencies to develop a diverse and accessible range of sport and community infrastructure projects that support and strengthen community health, well-being and social connectedness for the Brimbank community.
A key part of the position is to coordinate engagement and consultation throughout the planning, design and delivery of nominated Capital and Planning projects across the municipality. This role is responsible for liaising and engaging with the Brimbank community to support project and policy implementation relating to key Council plans such as the Sports Facility Development Plan and Community Services & Infrastructure Plan.
To be successful in this role you will need
- Strong interpersonal, communication and engagement skills and the ability to develop and maintain partnerships with sports clubs, community groups and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing a range of collaborative projects concurrently
- Experience in the planning and delivery of capital works relating to sport and/ or community infrastructure.

Selection Criteria |
Essential: Do you have a Degree or diploma in the Recreation, Sport, Community Development or a related field with some relevant experience or a lesser formal qualification with substantial experience and demonstrated knowledge and skills in the field?
Essential: Do you have experience in managing collaborative projects including officers from
across the organisation, consultants, contractors, community and Council?
Essential: Do you have experience in the planning and delivery of capital works relating to sport and/ or community infrastructure?
Essential: Do you have a Current Drivers Licence? |
