Position Summary

Your project management skills will be well utilised coordinating a number of rewarding complex projects concurrently.

This job is for an immediate start within the supportive and busy Learning Unit team. The Learning Unit looks to improve lifelong learning outcomes for Brimbank community of all lifestages and it's work is informed by Brimbank Lifelong Learning Strategy and the Brimbank Learning Futures project of which this role works closely. Selection Criteria Essential: Degree qualification in youth, social work, skills development, community development or its equivalent and experience in the delivery of youth services;

Essential: An understanding of education, learning and employment issues for young people

Essential: Demonstrated understanding and experience of community development principles and youth participation processes

Essential: Experience in identifying and working with diverse stakeholders to facilitate collaborative partnerships to improve community outcomes

Essential: Proven ability to manage time and prioritise work in a busy and complex environment

Essential: Well-developed project management, communications and problem solving skills.

Essential: Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic plans

Essential: Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex community issues

Desirable: Local government experience

Desirable: Ability to speak a community language relevant to the Brimbank community
