St Albans and Sunshine Leisure Centre Swim Instructor

Casual Rates: $36.25 per hour

St Albans and Sunshine Leisure Centres are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to provide the highest level of professional skills, aquatic education instruction and customer service.

We require casual Swim Instructors who are available to work shifts within the following times:

• Weekdays 9am – 3pm and 4pm – 8pm
• Weekends 8am – 4pm

Part time work may be available in the future for the right candidate. 

You will be responsible for providing an aquatic education program instruction in line with Council and Centre policies and procedures. You will be required to instruct and assess all swim school participants in accordance with the RLSSA’s Swim & Survive program. 

A current Austswim Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety certificate or Swim Australia Certificate, current minimum Basic First Aid certificate (Level 1), current CPR certificate and current Working with Children (Employment) certificate are essential. Previous teaching experience, Austswim/ Swim Australia extension certificates i.e. Teacher of Pre School Aquatics, Swimming Victoria Coaching certificates and ability to engage members of a diverse community will be highly regarded.
