Position Summary

We are seeking Casual Nurse Bank (Clinical Workforce) applicants within the following specialties:

  • Critical Care Registered Nurses and Registered Nurses (Emergency Department and ICU Experience)
  • Registered Nurses (Renal)
  • Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses Medication Endorsed (Respiratory)
  • Enrolled Nurses Medication Endorsed and  Enrolled Nurses (Aged Care)

The Clinical Workforce - Bank at Bendigo Health is generally defined as our casual workforce. Being a member of the Clinical Workforce - Bank offers Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Enrolled Nurses (Medication Endorsed) and Enrolled Nurses the opportunity to work across all divisions of Bendigo Health upon their suitability.

Staff are notified of staff shortages via an electronic messaging service (Kronos SMS Quick Fill) and are able to accept these shift by responding to the SMS Messages sent to staff upon their availability and suitability. It is a requirement of the Clinical Workforce – Bank that successful applicants are available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, but perform a minimum of 2 shifts per month which is monitored on a monthly basis.

Department: Clinical Workforce - Bank
Classification: Grade 2 (as per EBA)
Hours: Casual up to 76 hours per fortnight (Minimum requirement of 2 shifts per month)

Selection Criteria
Essential:
01.Be registered as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through the regulatory body, AHPRA.
