Salary: $27.59 to $36.00 per hour plus superannuation (dependent on experience)
Hours: Multiple Positions Available

About Residential Services

Residential Services provides accommodation for 265 older residents of Bendigo and surrounding areas who require low and high level care. Our facilities are spread over multiple campuses.

    • Joan Pinder Nursing Home with 60 beds
    • Stella Anderson Nursing Home  with 60 beds 
    • Simpkin House Nursing Home  with 40 beds 
    • Golden Oaks Nursing Home  with 60 beds 

Residential services provide high quality of care in all our residential care facilities. We achieved perfect scores in the last Aged Care Accreditation round. Our homes accommodate and care for some of the most vulnerable older people in our community. About the Role

You will work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, provide safe and quality nursing care in line with the Australian Nursing Council (ANC) national competency standards for enrolled nurses, the Code of Ethics and the Code of Professional Conduct for nurses in Australia, and commensurate with level of clinical skills and experience.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
01.Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).

Essential:
02.Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to aged care.

Essential:
03.Demonstrated knowledge of the ANC competency standards and Codes of Practice / Ethics

Essential:
04.Computer literacy and / or willingness to develop computer skills

Desirable:
05.Sound interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-focus.

Desirable:
06.Ability to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team as well as independently.
