Position Summary

Bendigo Health Medical Services focuses on quality care for its patients requiring internal medical care.  Nursing, medical, allied health and support staff provide services in:


* Emergency

* Intensive and coronary care

* General medicine including endocrinology, gastroenterology, respiratory, cardiology, oncology and nephrology including renal dialysis


The division also includes infection prevention and control, pharmacy, medical imaging and pathology.  Medical Services is led by the Executive Director – who is also the Chief Medical Officer – and is responsible for providing governance for the medical workforce across the organisation, including management of the HMO support unit.

Selection Criteria
01.Bachelor of Science or equivalent

02.Previous experience in lung function testing

03.Highly motivated and a quick learner

04.Ability to meet deadlines and schedules as required

05.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within all levels of the organisation

06.Ability to operate in an environment of change

07.Abilty to work independently as well as part of a team

08.Excellent attention to detail

09.Ability to establish a rapport with patients performing tests of maximal effort
