Mental Health Services

Bendigo Health Mental Health Services is a complex service that provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment area in Victoria stretching from Swan Hill in the north of the state to Gisborne in the south. Services are provided to a range of clients, including patients, families and carers, General Practitioners and other members of the broader mental health service system. A range of clinical services is provided to patients across all ages through dedicated programs.

 

Position

Reporting to the Manager, Development and Systems Mental Health Services, you will provide support to the programs and teams across the mental health directorate, assisting and coordinating service improvement activities. Your expertise will ensure Mental Health Services’ frameworks, processes and policies are relevant, measurable and effective.

We are seeking a seasoned individual who can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in project coordination and new initiative implementation in health service sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of the current issues and policies impacting on the development of the speciality of mental health services
  • Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of continuous improvement and associated quality and risk systems
  • High level organisational and time management skills with the demonstrated ability to manage and appropriately prioritise multiple tasks in accordance with competing timelines
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification, or working toward, in Business or Project management or health related discipline
