Position Summary

PROJECT MANAGER - FINANCE (Immediate Start)

Mildura Public Base Hospital Transition 

  • Exciting full time project role available until end September.
  • $52 per hour plus superannuation
  • Suit someone with previous Oracle implementation experience and a health background
  • Position is Bendigo based 

 

THE MILDURA PUBLIC BASE HOSPITAL TRANSITION TEAM – Finance, Commercial & Assets

The team consists of Finance & Procurement resources brought together to ensure corporate functions previously undertaken by the current hospital operator are maintained when responsibility for the operation of the hospital transitions to public hands.

 

THE POSITION

The Project Manager – Finance position is an integral part of the Mildura Public Base Hospital Transition Team. It is anticipated there will be more than one FTE undertaking the requirements of this role and that the specific duties will be determined in conjunction with the Mildura Public Base Hospital – Finance, Commercial & Assets Transition Lead. The Transition Leads for different areas of the business report directly to the Project Director – Mildura Base Hospital Transition whom reports to the Mildura Public Base Hospital Board.  

 

The successful applicant will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, business or relevant related discipline is required along with extensive experience in high level finance related projects.
  • Demonstrated high level technical experience in implementing new finance systems.
  • Previous Oracle implementation experience would be highly regarded.
  • Experience developing financial control systems, budget guidelines and reporting mechanisms so Executives and Board have a complete understanding of the financial viability, efficiency and future options for resource management.
  • Previous experience in policy and procedure creation and implementation.
  • Ability to develop finance training content and deliver training to a diverse workforce.
  • Previous experience working in the Health industry is preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationship partnerships with stakeholders within the project to deliver high quality outcomes.

Essential:
