The Resourcing Coordinator works in partnership with the Clinical and Non-Clinical Workforce Coordinators, Access and Demand Unit and Departmental Managers to ensure that the organisation is adequately staffed to meet the demands of the service. The role will be involved in the resourcing activities of replacing staffing shortfalls which occur due to unplanned leave and roster shortfalls. The role is dynamic and fast paced which requires the ability to respond to time sensitive resourcing demands whilst having the ability to manage completing priorities and problem solve effectively.

This is a Part time - Fixed Term position (4 months) which will require the incumbent to work weekends consistently.

Hours of work:

  • Thursday: 0900-1706
  • Friday: 0900-1706
  • Saturday: 0900-1236 (Weekend hours paid at time and a half as per Enterprise Agreement)
  • Sunday: 0900-1236 (Weekend hours paid at time and a half as per Enterprise Agreement)
  • Monday: 0900-1706

Selection Criteria
Essential:
01.Relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or health related discipline.

Desirable:
02.Previous experience working within the Health industry and an understanding of the clinical environment, particularly rostering, ratios and skills mix requirements would be beneficial.

Essential:
03.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide strategies that have a positive impact on the organisation with respect to workforce planning and resourcing.

Essential:
04.High level information technology skills including experience in the use of Microsoft Office and Human Resources Information systems - experience with Kronos would be highly desirable

Essential:
05.Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and improve effective process improvements.

Essential:
06.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders.

Essential:
07.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and problem solve whilst working within a fast paced environment.
