THE INNOVATION & DIGITAL SERVICES DIVISION

The Division of Innovation and Digital Services is charged with using technology to help deliver on our vision. As well as responsibility for the mainstream ICT services and support the division encompasses Research and Development, Innovation, ePR project, Project Management Office, Clinical Analytics and associated resources including the Chief Clinical Information Officers.

 

THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES DEPARTMENT

The Information Technology Services department (ITS) portfolio covers:

  • End-to-end technical support, Service Desk and 24/7 on-call emergency functions
  • Service Request, Incident, Problem and Change management functions
  • Cybersecurity
  • All facets of IT infrastructure including telecommunications, networks, server/storage, end-user computing, printing/scanning, audio-visual/video conferencing and real-time location services

THE POSITION

  • Undertake a full range of support activities including user, hardware and software administration.
  • Participate in the support, troubleshooting, installation and updating of hardware & Software.
  • Provide on-call support as part of a rostered team.
  • Provide high-quality customer service at all times.
  • Communicate courteously and effectively with non-IT and IT specialists alike to ensure customer and service level standards are met.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
01.A minimum of 2 years’ experience in like roles.

Desirable:
02.Relevant technical qualifications.

Desirable:
03.Working knowledge of ITIL practices. (ITIL v3 or 4 Foundation certificate will be highly regarded.)

Desirable:
04.Experience in using ITSM ticketing tools.

Desirable:
05.Excellent technical support knowledge and skills across Active Directory, Exchange & Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential:
06.Excellent technical support knowledge and skills across Microsoft Desktop operating environments Windows 7/10.

Essential:
07.Broad application support experience.

Essential:
08.Experience supporting a wide range of hardware such as PCs, smart phones and tablets.
