Essential:
01.•Current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
Desirable:
02.Have an understanding of Family Safety Victoria’s role in driving the redevelopment of the Framework to address the opportunities, gaps and issues identified by the Royal commission into FV
Desirable:
03.A significant understanding of family violence including: the gendered and systemic issues affecting women and children, the perpetrators’ pattern of coercive control and the impact on children
Desirable:
04.Knowledge of the specialist family violence service system and the broader sector including child protection, Maternity Support Program, Centre for Non-Violence, Enhanced MCHN and other community services
Desirable:
05.Ability to work independently, flexibly manage competing priorities
Desirable:
06.Support capacity building within the Antenatal Clinics by providing family violence expertise and advice in identifying, recognising and responding to family violence antenatally in all care models.

07.An ability to gain an understanding of deficits in knowledge of the multidisciplinary team and instruct, engage, nurture and motivate all staff to become proficient at screening
