Position Summary

Are you an associate nurse unit manager or registered nurse looking for a change?

Bendigo Health is enjoying a very exciting time as we watch our new state of the art hospital emerge on the skyline.  In the new facility Psychiatry beds numbers will almost double, and our units will not only be co-located but will also be truly integrated into the hospital.

With a total of 80 adult acute, older persons, extended care and parent-infant inpatient beds in our four new inpatient units, we are seeking motivated nurses to join our team in providing quality care to our patients.  We are a values driven organisation and, with our established Consumer and Carer support programs, provide excellent services to patients and their loved ones during their recovery journey in both inpatient and community settings.

Bendigo is Victoria's fourth largest city, located around 150 kilometers north-west of Melbourne.  Bendigo has a rich and prosperous heritage dating back to the days when gold was discovered in the area in the 1850s, with beautiful Victorian architecture and manicured gardens.  Bendigo has evolved into an energetic city which has a surprisingly vibrant food and wine scene as well as sophisticated cultural experiences with outstanding Gallery and performing arts spaces.  A 10 minute commute to work and truly affordable housing are the icing on the cake.  Why not call to discuss the possibilities or visit us and take a closer look?
